History of Acmat Bastion APC

ACMAT offers its customers an armored vehicle directly derived from the tactical truck range.
For the VLRA2 range, this is now done with the presentation, during EuroSatory 2010, of the "Bastion".
The "Bastion" offers: a monocoque cell offering level 2 protection, an interior volume of 8.5 m3, a transport capacity of 10 people, including crew.

Personnel transported in a crate have individual seats, with harnesses and footrests. The Bastion is economically built with the common parts of VLRA 2, allowing easy maintenance and simple logistics.

The Bastion integrates explosion protection technology and the mobility of a light armored vehicle.
The Bastion uses V-hull technology, with the aim of increasing vehicle and crew survivability by deflecting upward fire from a mine or improvised explosive, while presenting an inclined armor face .
