History of the British D-Day armoured bulldozer

Produced in the USA, this small engineering vehicle rendered countless services to the Allied armies. What's more, the armor of this earth-moving machine extended its field of activity as close as possible to the line of fire.

The driver climbed up the side of the vehicle using the welded handles. Full body armor also protected the drive train. The five undercarriage rollers were also steel-armored.

In addition to conventional earthmoving and clearing work, this bulldozer could even tow a 155 mm cannon or a 240 mm howitzer.
