The two crewmen were protected by at most 13 mm of steel. The ZT-3 model was equipped with an SA-L Mod anti-tank gun. 1934 L/72 of 25 mm with 78 shells, installed in a casemate. The 25 mm shell weighed 320 grams, had an initial speed of 918 m/s and perforated 27 mm of steel at a distance of 1200 m. These vehicles took part in combat, under difficult conditions, during the brief French campaign which ended on Saturday June 22, 1940. Most of the ZT-3s were lost due to mechanical failures.
