History of the AMX 10RC with jammers
The AMX-10 RCR (Roue Canon Rénové) is a 6-wheel amphibious reconnaissance armored vehicle created by GIAT Industries for armored intelligence, security and investigation missions. Production began in 1976. At the end of the 2000s, the machine was upgraded and the 256 units were brought up to AMX 10 RCR standard. In service with the French army since 1980, they were created to replace the EBR.
Equipped with these SEPAR armor kits (SystèmE de Protection EEI for AMX 10RCR), the word "Separ" means "shield" in Persian, this vehicle becomes a reconnaissance and contact combat vehicle rivaling in tactical performance the most modern armored vehicles in its category, and capable of becoming part of the future forces system. From 2008, the AMX 10 RCR also features an integrated EEI jammer kit, which can be mounted on the rear of the turret to jam all signals.
