History of the German horse-drawn cart

During World War II, the German military relied heavily on horse-drawn transport to supply its units, the reason being that the industry was unable to produce sufficient numbers of vehicles.
  These wagons were used on all fronts, from the first days of the conflict until the Battle of Berlin.
