History of the VBC T40 Nexter CTA International
This turret is equipped with the 40CTAS, a 40 mm gun developed by CTA International, recently qualified and selected by the French army for its future JAGUAR reconnaissance vehicle, and by the British army for the SCOUT program. The VBCI is now positioned as the "combat proven" benchmark in the 8X8 market, having already been deployed in Lebanon (2011--), Afghanistan (2010-2012), Mali (2013-), and the Central African Republic (2014).
