History of the Renault Sherpa Scout T1
The family of light armored tactical vehicle and 4x4 Sherpa Light is designed to provide light forces (infantry, paratroopers, marines, internal security ...) the best compromise mobility / payload in its class. Besides its excellent performance on-road and off-road, the Sherpa Light is fully air transportable (A400M / C-130), multirole and ready to receive on-screen (ballistic and mine).
The Sherpa Light has already been adopted by OTA N, France and other countries. The "Scout" is ideally suited for tactical missions such as reconnaissance, patrolling, escorting convoys, command and liaison. It can carry up to 4 or 5 men, with a roof armament.
