History of the Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär Solido base

Direct successor to the SIG 33 mounted on PZ III, the Strumpanzer IV was built on the basis of a Pz chassis. IV from April 1943. He made his first appearance on the Eastern Front during the Kursk Offensive with great success and was nicknamed “Brummbär” or “Howling Grizzly” by the soldiers.
More than 300 units of the Brummbär were built in three different versions until the end of the war.
