History of the Tamiya-based Flammpanzerwagen Sd.Kfz.251/16

Equipped with two flamethrowers, and initially with another flamethrower placed at the rear on the Ausf.C version, detachable but nonetheless connected to the vehicle, for use by dismounted infantry.
This equipment was in addition to the standard MG34 machine gun. Each PanzerGrenadier regiment was equipped with six Flammpanzerwagens Sd.Kfz.251/16.
